Pultrusion Capabilities
Razor Composites can manufacture custom fiberglass pultrusions for virtually any industry. Razor is the one pultruder with a proven track record of producing both:

Design

Our designers marry the unique, value-added attributes of pultruded fiberglass with our material and process expertise to create a profile that delivers value and consistency.
Material Selection
Most Razor Composite pultrusions consist of thermosetting polyester resins used with glass rovings and mat. We have the capability to manufacture composites using other special materials to meet product requirements or to solve customer issues that customers cannot find with other pultruders.
Pultrusion
In addition to complex fenestration profiles and pultruded tubes, Razor Composites has experience producing "T" and "L" profiles, channel profiles, flat profiles and other shapes.
Razor Composites has developed a manufacturing process for producing a smooth, high quality finish that many believe is the best available in the industry. Specialty veils are also used to add a unique appearance to many tool handles.
Fabrication
Our in-house finishing department can perform machining and assembly functions, often on-line, to save our customers the time and cost associated with secondary operations. Razor Composites can fabricate a variety of holes, slots, notches, and many other types of secondary operations required by our customers.

Razor Composites specializes in complex pultruded window lineals and sills, door thresholds, and skylights for several highly regarded window and door manufacturers. With our in-house design team we are able to work with our customers to develop a design into a high quality pultrudable profile. Lawn & Garden Tool Handles
Razor Composites can manufacture pultruded tool handles in almost any size, wall thickness, color and shape that is required. We utilize special materials to meet product requirements or to solve customer issues, a value add that is not found in other pultruders. We also provide many different custom finishing operations to include: drilling, slotting, assembly, routing, and gluing of tips and caps.
Razor Composites also specializes in designing and manufacturing profiles that are utilized in refrigeration, trucking, electrical, and both heavy and light construction. Our expertise can meet your product's needs.
Why Pultrusion
Pultruded fiberglass is a material made from glass fibers that are impregnated with a resin and continuously pulled through a heated die that forms the shape of the profile. The result is a fiberglass composite profile that has physical properties far superior to other materials.

Windows and Doors
Razor Composite's pultruded fiberglass is a far better material than vinyl, aluminum, or wood for the window and door industry.
- When exposed to hot and cold climates pultruded fiberglass expands and contracts at the same rate of glass, providing a strong defense against seal failures and air leakage.
- The strength found in pultruded fiberglass mitigates the need for bulky or strength reinforced window lineals, providing the design flexibility to have a strong window with a sleeker frame and a larger glass viewing area.
- Fiberglass is extremely durable, and won't crack, rot, bow, or be susceptible to insects alleviating consumers of the nuisance of performing upkeep, repairs, and replacement of their windows.
- Unlike vinyl, fiberglass' stability and low thermal expansion provide an excellent surface to paint any color, light or dark.
